Another Little Shell council member resigns position
A second council member for the Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana resigned in protest of President John Sinclair.

Leona Kienenberger joins John LaSalle in leaving the council. Both have criticized Sinclair's leadership and have sided with the Little Shell Chippewa Alliance in calling for a new council.

The tribe is recognized by the state but has been denied federal recognition by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
