Saginaw Chippewa Tribe prepares for third annual powwow
The Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan will hold the third annual Honoring Saganing Powow on June 5-6.

The powwow takes place at the Saganing Tribal Center in Standish. Veterans will lead the grand entry on both days.

The powwow used to be held at another location before it was moved to the center three years ago. "It is a great opportunity for us to be able to offer our rich tradition as a native community," council member Ron Nelson told The Arenac County Independent.
