Former Poarch Creek chairman making another council bid





The Poarch Band of Creek Indians in Alabama will hold a council election on June 4.

Three seats are open and 21 candidates are running. Former chairman Eddie L. Tullis, who led the tribe for nearly three decades, is trying to win one of the seats.

Buford L. Rolin, the current chairman, is running for re-election. He's been leading the tribe since 2005.
