A wildfire is burning close to Cochiti Pueblo in northern New Mexico, with nearby residents undergoing evacuations.

The Las Conchas Fire started on private land on Sunday. It's now burning inside Bandelier National Monument near the reservation.

Tribal members are keeping a close watch on the fire but so far have not reported any evacuations. The Los Alamos National Laboratory, however, has been closed and residents of two nearby towns are leaving.
