Top executive of Chugach Alaska Corp. announces resignation





The chief executive officer of Chugach Alaska Corp., an Alaska Native regional corporation, resigned on Monday.

Ed Herndon left to "pursue other career opportunities," The Anchorage Daily News reported. No further details were provided.

Herndon led one of the largest Alaska Native corporations for a little over two years. In 2009, Chugach reported $1.1 billion in revenues, the bulk of which was derived from government contracts.
