Air Force Academy hosting tribal leaders for annual consultation





The Air Force Academy in Colorado is hosting tribal leaders this week for its annual consultation summit.

The Air Force is developing a memorandum of understanding with tribes. The goal is to consult tribes before construction project sand to identify important cultural, historical and sacred sites.

Fourteen tribes in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, South Dakota and Oklahoma have been invited.
