Senate Indian Affairs Committee schedules two events in Hawaii





The Senate Indian Affairs Committee has scheduled two events in Hawaii.

The committee is hosting an oversight hearing on economic development next Thursday, August 17. The hearing will take place at 9am at the Maui Beach Hotel, 170 Kaahumanu Avenue in Kahului.

On Monday, August 22, the committee will host a roundtable on access to capital. The roundtable takes place at 9am at the Hawai'i Convention Center in Oahu.

Sen. Daniel Akaka (D), the chairman of the committee, is from Hawaii.
