Pueblo teen's death remains unsolved after more than a year

A young member of Pojoaque Pueblo in New Mexico was killed on May 27, 2010, but no one's been charged for his death.

Gerald Viarrial, 18, was shot in Santa Fe. Authorities questioned two young men -- who were reported to be gang members -- but no charges were filed.

In August, Viarrial's family offered a $10,000 reward for information about the incident. Gerald Viarrial Sr., the victim's father, is a tribal member.

Ramona Corriz, the teen's mother, is seeking to be declared as personal representative for her son's estate in order to collect money from an insurance company, The Santa Fe New Mexican reported.
