Seventh person charged for fatal Ute Reservation shooting

A seventh person has been charged in connection with a shooting on the Uintah and Ouray Reservation in Utah.

Colin Rian Manning, a member of the Ute Tribe, is facing second-degree murder and other charges. Federal authorities say he participated in a June 18 shooting that killed James Edward Carey and critically injured Jared R. Hurley.

Four other men have already been charged with Carey's death. Bruce Silva, the alleged gunman, and three of his brothers have been charged in state court because they are non-Indian.

Two women -- Shadow Reed and Teaunna Cesspooch -- also face charges in state court. All six have pleaded not guilty to murder and attempted murder and other charges.
