Navajo Nation Supreme Court to hold arguments at Yale Law

The Navajo Nation Supreme Court will travel to Yale Law School in November.

The justices will hear oral arguments in a lawsuit over the Shiprock Home for Women and Children in Shiprock, New Mexico. A construction company is locked in a dispute with the Navajo Nation about the ownership of the facility.

The $6 million center is 80 percent complete. The tribe won a decision against RJN Construction, a non-Indian company that is appealing to the Navajo Supreme Court.
