Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe boosts county law enforcement





The Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe is boosting law enforcement efforts in Clallam County, Washington.

The tribe is funding a second deputy position for the county. The first was added in June 2010, The Peninsula Daily News reported.

The deputies can enforce tribal law and state law on the reservation. The tribe is using Bureau of Indian Affairs funds for the partnership.
