Sen. Kyl will introduce bill to settle Hopi, Navajo water rights

Sen. Jon Kyl
(R-Arizona) will introduce legislation to settle the water rights of the Hopi Tribe
and the Navajo Nation
, the Associated Press reports.
The bill will resolve tribal claims to the Little Colorado River. It promises the tribes groundwater delivery projects worth an estimated $313 million.
Kyl is retiring at the end of the 112th Congress.
