Saginaw Chippewa Tribe hosts grand opening for water park





The Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan will host a grand opening and ribbon cutting for the Soaring Eagle Waterpark and Hotel on May 21.

The 45,000 square-foot water park is the largest in the state. It will be known as Anishinaabe Biish, which means "The People's Water" in the Ojibwe language.

The facility includes a 243-room hotel, whose guests will get priority access to the water park.
