Edward Wadda, liaison for Eastern Shoshone Tribe, dies in crash





Edward L. Wadda, a member of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe who served as a liaison to the state of Wyoming, died on Thursday. He was 42.

Wadda died in a single-car accident. He swerved to avoid hitting a deer when his vehicle rolled over.

"Ed was a caring person who always had the best interest of the Eastern Shoshone in his heart. It was a pleasure to work with him to continue to strengthen the relationship between the State of Wyoming and the Eastern Shoshone Tribe," Gov. Matt Mead (R) said in a statement, The RIverton Ranger reported.

Three people were reportedly passengers in the car.
