Navajo Nation man sentenced to 37 months for domestic crime





A man from the Navajo Nation was sentenced to 37 months in federal prison for a domestic violence crime.

Wayne Tahe, 58, pleaded guilty to assault resulting in serious bodily injury. He admitted that he stabbed his wife at the couple's home in December 2011.

The crime took place on the New Mexico portion of the reservation.
