Evacuation of Cortina Rancheria ordered as wildfire approaches

Authorities in California ordered all residents of the Cortina Rancheria to evacuate due to an approaching wildfire.

The 16 Complex Fire has burned 12,500 acres so far. It doesn't appear to have entered the reservation but authorities wanted to make sure the tribe wasn't trapped by flames.

Residents are staying in a hotel while crews battle the fire.
