Director of Ute Tribe's economic development arm resigns

Forrest Cuch, the executive director of the economic development corporation for the Ute Tribe of Utah, resigned unexpectedly this week, The Vernal Express reports.
Cuch, a tribal member, joined the Ute Tribal Enterprises in July 2011. He said he left due to a “breakdown in communications" with the tribal council.
Cuch was formerly the director of the Utah Division of Indian Affairs before he was forced out last May.
