Woman and grandchildren killed on North Dakota reservation





A woman and three of her grandchildren were killed on the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation in North Dakota, authorities said today.

The woman was identified as Martha Johnson, 64. She was found dead in her home on Sunday along with Benjamin Schuster, 13, Julia Schuster, 10, and Luke Schuster, 6.

Authorities said the victims were shot to death. A person of interest, said to be in his 20s, was found dead hours later in an apparent suicide.

The person of interest was said to be a tribal members. Johnson was not.
