IPR: Little River Band recovers eagle feathers after court case





"Eagle feathers at the center of a federal court case have been returned to the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians in Manistee.

A 21-year-old man with ties to the tribe was caught selling the feathers to undercover tribal officers, and sentenced November 1st in federal court in Grand Rapids.

Tribal spokesman Glenn Zaring says the feathers were returned and presented to a warrior within the tribe."
