House approves measure for Pascua Yaqui Tribe land-into-trust

The House approved H.R. 4222, the Pascua Yaqui Tribe Trust Land Act, on Tuesday.

The bill places about 20 acres in trust for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe of Arizona. The tribe gained federal recognition in 1978.

The tribe plans to use the land for a golf course. The bill contains a gaming prohibition.
