The Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska has acquired a majority stake in the largest building in Sioux City, Iowa.

Ho-Chunk Inc., the tribe's economic development corporation, plans to rename the 155,486 square-foot Terra Centre as Ho-Chunk Centre. "We're just putting our name on the top of it because we think it's gonna be cool," CEO Lance Morgan, a tribal member said, The Sioux City Journal reported.

The purchase price was not disclosed but the property and land have a taxable value of about $7.5 million, the Journal reported. The Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation of Kansas also acquired a stake in the building.
