Audio from House subcommittee hearing on six Indian bills

The
House Subcommittee on Indian and Alaska Native Affairs held a lengthy hearing this afternoon on six bills that addressed land issues.
H.R.623, the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium Land Transfer Act, and
H.R.740, the Southeast Alaska Native Land Entitlement Finalization and Jobs Protection Act, address land issues in Alaska.
H.R.841
and
H.R.931 address land issues for tribes in Oregon.
Finally,
H.R.1410 bars gaming on newly acquired lands in the Phoenix area.
