Tribal members seek to dissolve Oneida Nation business entity

Members of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin have filed a petition seeking to dissolve the tribe's economic development entity.

The Oneida Seven Generations Corp. ran into controversy on and off the reservation by pursuing a waste-to-energy plant. Tribal members killed the project and now they are seeking to kill the corporation.

The signatures on the petition will be verified then forwarded to the tribal council for possible action.
