Cherokee Nation Council relocates following mold discovery

The Cherokee Nation Council has moved out of its building after mold was discovered in nearly every room.

Tests showed several species of mold in the council house, The Cherokee Phoenix reported. The tribe isn't sure what it will do with the building.

“I think facilities will have to determine if it’s a salvageable building, and I don’t think that determination has been made yet,” council member Chuck Hoskin Jr. told the paper.

The council is using space in the attorney general's office for now.
