Sen. Dianne Feinstein to testify at SCIA land-into-trust hearing

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-California) has been added to the witness list for today's Senate Indian Affairs Committee hearing on the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Carcieri v. Salazar.

Some lobbyists in Washington, D.C., have blamed Feinstein for blocking a simple fix to the decision. Though she has introduced bills to address trust land acquisitions for gaming purposes, this will be the first time she has spoke in public about the issue.

The hearing takes place at 2:30pm in Room 628 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building. The webcast can be found on the committee's site.
