Missing Indian children found safely on Montana reservation

Three Indian children who were the subject of a missing/endangered persons advisory were handed over to authorities on the Flathead Reservation in Montana on Thursday.

The siblings -- ages 7, 5 and 3 -- were removed from a home on the Nez Perce Reservation in Idaho. They were last seen with their father on the Flathead Reservation but he lacks custody so authorities issued the alert.

The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes will return to the children to the Nez Perce Tribe, The Missoulian reported.
