Interior Secretary Jewell to talk education at Laguna Pueblo





Interior Secretary Sally Jewell will visit Laguna Pueblo in New Mexico tomorrow to discuss Indian education issues.

Jewell will tour a Bureau of Indian Education school on the reservation. She also will participate in a roundtable to discuss the American Indian Education Study Group, a new initiative started by the Obama administration.

Assistant Secretary Kevin Washburn, the head of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, is taking part in the events. So is Monty Roessel, the acting director of the BIE.
