Hualapai Tribe recalls leaders from office in business dispute

Members of the Hualapai Tribe of Arizona recalled two leaders who have been involved in a business dispute with a non-Indian developer.

Charlie Vaughn and Candida Hunter were recalled in an election on Wednesday. Both were involved in the takeover of the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a popular tourist attraction on the reservation.

The tribe's Sa' Nyu Wa $28.5 million judgment to the developer David Jin and has since declared bankruptcy.
