Authorities capture murder suspect who escaped CRIT custody






A homicide suspect who escaped from a detention facility operated by the Colorado River Indian Tribes has been recaptured.

Mickey Anderson, 25, was found in Blythe, California, according to news reports. He had escaped from the CRIT jail across the border in Arizona early Sunday morning.

Authorities said Anderson and two other inmates escaped after assaulting a tribal detention officer. The other inmates have been recaptured.
