Muscogee Nation working to revitalize property on riverfront

The Muscogee Nation of Oklahoma is working to revitalize the Riverwalk Crossing.

The tribe purchased the riverfront property for $11.5 million in April 2012. The goal is to bring more retail, entertainment and other business tenants to the site.

“We’re excited,” Chief George Tiger told the Tulsa World. “We’re getting ready to gear up and be really aggressive in recruiting tenants.”

The tribe wants the site placed in trust.
