Subcommittee on Indian and Alaska Native Affairs sets hearing





The House Subcommittee on Indian and Alaska Native Affairs will hold a legislative hearing next week.

Two bills are on the agenda. They are:
H.R.4002, a bill to allow the Miami Nation to revoke the charter that was approved under the Oklahoma Indian Welfare Act.
H.R.3822, the Fort Wingate Land Division Act of 2014. The bill divides surplus property in New Mexico between the Navajo Nation and Zuni Pueblo.

The hearing takes place at 11am on Thursday, March 27, in Room 1324 of the Longworth House Office Building. A witness list hasn't been posted online.
