A Native woman turned to gangs and crime following the death of her one-year-old son, CBC News reports. Cheyann Peeteetuce, 21, started associating with the Indian Posse, a street gang in Saskatoon known for violence, after her son died sometime last fall. She pleaded guilty in January for her role in three auto thefts and other crimes. Peeteetuce was released under special conditions but soon found herself in trouble again for auto theft. She was allegedly driving a stolen truck when it struck another vehicle, killing two teenagers, on May 5. Peeteetuce will be in court tomorrow to face 14 charges, including impaired driving causing death, possession of stolen property, criminal negligence causing death and breach of probation, CBC reported.
