Two tribes are in the running to receive a share of bison that were taken from Yellowstone National Park.

The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma and the Fort Peck Tribes of Montana are among five finalists for the bison. The Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks will now make a final decision on where to place approximately 145 animals.

The animals are currently being held at a ranch owned by Ted Turner.
