The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska has opened a museum inside a historic building.

The Ponca Tribal Museum in Niobara is inside a building that was constructed tribal members in 1936. The collection includes a headdress worn by Chief Standing Bear, who won a landmark federal court case in 1879.
