The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians will open a $55 million hospital next month.

The 180,000 square-foot facility is located in the Pearl River community. It features 24 beds, space for 14 doctors and 12 dentists and the tribe's public health department.

The tribe broke ground in September 2013. The tribe signed an agreement with the Indian Health Service to fast-track the facility.

A ribbon cutting will take place March 2, WTOK reported. The grand opening is March 9.
