DECEMBER 8, 2000 With 88 percent of its student population being Crow, 40 percent of students and many faculty speaking Crow, the Little Big Horn College on the Crow Reservation in Montana makes students feel at home. The school began in 1981 with 32 students and has grown to 335 in 200. Along with a focus on modern sciences, its focus on Crow language, philosophy, and culture has helped 250 students obtain associate's degrees, 30 bachelor's degrees, and at least one doctorate.
