AUGUST 18, 2000

Six generations of one Crow family will be represented in the annual Crow Fair this weekend as Mae House, 89, and her great-great-great-grandsons ride on a float in the parade on Sunday.

Speaking mostly in Crow, House said she has trouble remembering all of her grandchildren. She sometimes chastises the younger generation of women in her family for allowing men to change the children's diapers, saying it is a mother's job.

House said her first trip to Crow Fair as a young child was in a wagon.
