THURSDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2001 A federal court in Montana on Wednesday sentenced and finde a Billings man who assaulted Crow tribal police officers. Ronald Wallace Hanson, 54, was sentenced to two years of probation and fined $500 for misdemeanor assault. He must also apologize to the Crow Tribe and to an officer he injured. Hanson's lawyer claimed he was having a Vietnam flashback at the time of the October 2000 incident. In other federal court action, a 23-yar-old resident of the Crow Reservation at Lodge Grass pleaded guilty to two counts of sexually abuse of minors. Get the Story:
