Oklahoma State Sen. Enoch Kelly Haney, a member of the Seminole Nation, has decided to run for governor of Oklahoma.

Haney, who is also an artist, had been considering running for the office. He is one of three Democrats so far to announce his candidacy.

Three Republicans are vying for the position as well. They are all trying to succeed Frank Keating, who cannot run due to term limits.
