NOVEMBER 21, 2000 The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut donated $45,000 on Monday to the Connecticut Food Bank. The money will help the food bank buy turkeys that it will distribute to over 100,00 people. The food bank had no money left it its checking account and had to use its reserve funds. The food bank was also helped out by a local businessman who donated 5,000 turkeys on Monday. Get the Story:
