Tulalip Tribes restoring old ammunitions test site
Thursday, July 31, 2003

The Tulalip Tribes of Washington are restoring an old ammunitions testing site to a wetland and wildlife habitat.

The site is located near the tribal business development park. The tribes are setting aside more than 720 acres to preserve the area.

Salmon still return to the site to spawn but are hindered by the degraded environment.
