Editorial: Tribe's plan for ferry is sensible
Tuesday, August 12, 2003

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer welcomes plans by the Suquamish Tribe of Washington for a passenger ferry to its new casino.

"Build it and they will come -- especially if you bring them," the paper says. "That's the Suquamish Tribe's sensible approach to building business at its Clearwater Casino in Suquamish by offering passenger-only ferry service from Seattle."

The ferry to the casino, which recently opened, will ease traffic, the paper says. The first run is expected in October.
