"I can't remember when I changed roles with my daughter, so that she became the caretaker and I became the child. But now she's telling me what I need to do to be healthy, and sometimes I dig in my heels in just because I don't like to be told what to do. Hmm, this rings a bell. Where have I heard that before?

My microbiologist daughter comes over to my place regularly. Sometimes, she cleans my refrigerator of leftovers; I can't keep "doggie bags" from the Blue Moose restaurant in East Grand Forks anymore."
