Mashantucket Pequot casino robbed

THURSDAY, MAY 9, 2002 Police in Connecticut have in custody a man accused of stealing more than $250,000 in casino chips from the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. Gene Lagor, 55, was seen charging into a gaming area at Foxwoods Resort Casino with a gun. After taking the chips, he fled and was apprehended later at his home. Get the Story:
