The Washington Indian Gaming Association and the First American Education Project released the result of a gaming study on Tuesday.

The study concludes that tribal casinos have reduced poverty, improved education, added reservation infrastructure and housing. Tribal governments are strengthened through gaming, the study also said.

There are 14 tribes that operate casinos in the state.
