About 4,000 to 5,000 are expected to march today for Alaska Native sovereignty.

The fifth annual "We the People" march in Anchorage features Alaska Native and American Indian speakers. The goal is to show solidarity and to point out the unequal treatment of Alaska's tribes, said chief organizer Kendall Miller, an attorney.

The march begins at 2 p.m. at the Captain Cook Hotel on 4th Ave and K St.
