TUESDAY, MAY 20, 2003

A decision to build a Catholic school on a Juaneno tribal burial ground is being considered by the San Juan Capistrano city council.

The council had approved the development but a judge invalidated it on procedural grounds. An official said the project could also be put to voters.

Some members of the Juaneno Band of Mission Indians oppose the school. Upwards of 200 graves could be located on the site.
