Bush daughters under investigation

President Bush's twin daughters are under investigation in their home state of Texas after Austin authorities on Wednesday said Jenna allegedy tried to purchase alcohol using a fake ID.

Jenna, 19, attempted the purchase at a restaurant on Tuesday night, according to authorities. No charges have been filed at this time because police say no offense was witnessed. Barbara was also at the restaurant.

The White House declined comment, stating it was a private matter. When Jenna pleaded no contest May 16 to possessing alcohol, spokesperson Ari Fleischer criticized a reporter for asking about the incident.

Bush quit drinking alcohol on his 40th birthday. In 1976, he pleaded guilty to to drunk driving.
