Did Bush stiff McCain?

AUGUST 4, 2000 George W. Bush's campaign told Senator John McCain to pack it up and leave the Republican National Convention on Tuesday night only to ask him to come back today in order to take pictures with Bush, sources from McCain's camp are reporting. Bush's camp is denying the way McCain's people are telling the story. They say McCain was the one who wanted to leave and they were only agreeing with letting him go. Get the Story:
