In a ceremony at the White House on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, President Donald Trump signs an executive order establishing the Task Force on Missing and Murdered American Indians and Alaska Natives.The following tribal leaders provided remarks at the event: * Melanie Benjamin, Chief Executive, Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe
* Myron Lizer, Vice President, Navajo Nation
* Alvin "A.J." Not Afraid, Chairman, Crow Tribe
* Kevin DuPuis, Chairman, Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa
* Roger Smith, Council Member, Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Attorney General William Barr of the Department of Justice and Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt also provided remarks.
